What is Hidden Depths?
Hidden Depths was born from my desire, as a third-generation jeweler, to create meaningful pieces rooted in history, mythology, philosophy, art, and the stories that endure.
I wanted each piece to feel like more than jewelry — something with a story, symbol, or idea you can carry with you.
Where is Hidden Depths located?
Hidden Depths is based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Our pieces are designed by us and handcrafted in small batches by our jewelry studio in Bali using traditional lost-wax casting techniques.
Craft and Process
How is your jewelry made?
Our pieces are handcrafted in small batches in Bali using traditional lost-wax casting, then finished and polished by hand.
Will my piece look exactly like the photos?
Yes. Our pieces are made from master wax models and cast using the lost-wax process, so the design you receive will match the photographs shown. Minor variations from hand finishing may occur, but the overall design remains the same.
Can a design be made in solid gold?
Yes. Many of our designs can be made in solid gold by special request. Contact us for pricing.
Do you make custom pieces?
No, we don’t currently offer fully custom designs, but we may introduce the service in the future as our production capacity grows.
Materials and Care
What materials do you use?
We use solid 925 sterling silver throughout, never hollow pieces or silver-plated base metal. Our gold vermeil pieces use a solid sterling silver base with a 2.5-micron layer of genuine 18K yellow gold. Gemstones vary by design and are listed on each product page.
What is gold vermeil?
Gold vermeil is solid sterling silver coated with a thick layer of real gold. Our vermeil pieces use 18K yellow gold at 2.5 microns over solid 925 sterling silver.
How should I care for my jewelry?
Sterling Silver
Our pieces are solid 925 sterling silver, never hollow. Water won’t damage the silver, so normal hand washing and showering are fine. Avoid chlorinated pools, harsh chemicals, and sulfur-rich water.
Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time. This is completely normal and easily restored with a soft silver polishing cloth.
Gold Vermeil
Our gold vermeil pieces are solid sterling silver coated with a thick layer of genuine 18K gold. To preserve the gold finish for as long as possible, we recommend avoiding regular exposure to water, perfume, lotions, hand sanitizer, and abrasive surfaces.
Storage
When you’re not wearing your jewelry, keep it somewhere dry and store pieces separately to prevent scratching.
Can I shower or wash my hands while wearing sterling silver?
Yes. Normal contact with water will not damage solid sterling silver. Just avoid chlorine, harsh chemicals, and sulfur-rich water, and dry your piece afterward.
Will sterling silver tarnish?
Tarnishing is a natural surface reaction that can happen when silver comes into contact with air, humidity, sweat, or everyday products. It doesn’t damage the jewelry and can usually be removed easily with a silver polishing cloth.
Are your gemstones natural?
We use both natural and custom cut lab-grown gemstones, selected for their color, clarity, consistency, and how well they suit each design. The exact stone used is always listed on the product page.
Shipping and Delivery
Do you ship free worldwide?
Yes. We offer complimentary worldwide express shipping on every order, regardless of destination. The shipping cost is completely on us.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours with full tracking.
Estimated delivery times:
- UAE: Next-day delivery
- USA & Canada: 2–5 business days
- Europe & Australia: 3–7 business days
- Rest of world: 3–10 business days
Which couriers do you use?
We ship with trusted express couriers including FedEx, DHL, and SkyNet, depending on the destination.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number by email so you can follow it from us to your door.
Do U.S. customers have to pay duties or tariffs?
No. We pay all U.S. import duties, tariffs, and customs charges in advance before your order reaches you. The price you pay at checkout is the final price: you will never be asked to pay anything extra upon delivery.
Will I have to pay customs duties or import fees?
We ship worldwide and do everything we can to make international delivery as smooth and predictable as possible.
For U.S. orders, all duties and tariffs are paid by us in advance, so the price you pay at checkout is the final price.
For other countries, local customs authorities may occasionally charge import taxes or duties depending on the destination and order value. These charges are outside our control, but your shipment will be fully tracked and the courier will normally contact you by email or SMS if anything is required before delivery.
We know unexpected fees are frustrating, so we always aim to keep the process as clear and hassle-free as possible.

Returns and Exchanges
What is your return policy?
You can return your order within 30 days of delivery as long as the piece is unworn and in its original, like-new condition.
Do you offer exchanges?
We don’t process direct exchanges. Instead, return the original piece for a refund and place a new order for the item or size you want.
What if I order the wrong ring size?
You can return the ring within our 30-day return window and reorder the correct size. We also recommend having your finger measured by a local jeweler before ordering.

Do you offer half sizes?
Some designs are available in half or intermediate sizes. All currently available sizes are shown on the individual product page.
Can my ring be resized?
Many solid sterling silver rings can be resized by a local jeweler, depending on the design and how much adjustment is needed. Rings with gemstones or detailed bands may be more limited.
