This rustic signet ring is inspired by the Lion of Babylon — a carved relief that once lined the Processional Way leading to the Ishtar Gate.

In Mesopotamia, the lion wasn’t just an animal — it was a powerful symbol of kingship, protection, and divine authority. It stood guard at gates, charged across palace walls, and was closely tied to gods and heroes like Ishtar and Gilgamesh.

Ishtar, the Babylonian goddess of war and love, was often depicted riding a chariot pulled by seven lions. Gilgamesh, the legendary king, was said to have tamed and fought lions. Fast forward to today, Iraq's national football team proudly carries the nickname "Lions of Mesopotamia."

This piece is specially oxidized to give it an ancient, rustic feel — heavy with history, just as it should be. Weighing in at a solid 17 grams, it’s substantial on the hand and serves as the perfect statement ring to give you strength when you need it most.

RETURNS

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
