Our Sisyphus Silver Ring is a piece of mythology-inspired jewelry, drawing on the story of Sisyphus from Greek mythology, who was condemned by the gods to eternally roll a massive boulder up a hill—only for it to tumble back down each time he reached the top.

Firstly, in The Myth of Sisyphus, Albert Camus offers a profound insight: "One must imagine Sisyphus happy." Above all, in his eyes, Sisyphus is the perfect symbol of rebellion and defiance.

Sisyphus had one of two choices — he could either curse his existence and be miserable every step of the way through his futile task. Or he could learn to embrace the absurdity of his circumstance and be happy in spite it.

In addition, Camus believed that true freedom can only be achieved once one embraces the nature of our absurd world. Then and only then are we able to create our own sense of meaning.

That is to say, this ring is a reminder of the absurdity of life, and to always remember. Through all of our struggles, that we must always imagine Sisyphus happy.

We also threw in an Ouroboros on both sides of the band as a reminder of the eternal struggle.
